Sayner-Star Lake’s Street Fair
One of the great festivals of the Northwoods will take place in Sayner-Star Lake Aug. 5. The annual Sayner Street Fair takes over the main street of Sayner, filling the heart of town with vendors, kids’ activities and live music. Here’s a look at what’s planned for this year’s fair.
Be sure to check out the craft fair. Vendors will be set up from 10am-4pm, offering items to suit any taste. You’ll find impressive paintings, carved items and more—the fair draws top artists and skilled craftspeople from around the Midwest. Vendors will also offer a variety of local food products, including jams, maple syrup, goat cheese, honey and more.
Food and beer
Arrive at the festival with an appetite. Food trucks will be dishing up some tasty items. Be sure to visit the beer tent under the pavilion to wash it all down with a refreshing cold brew.
There’s a lot for young ones to enjoy at the Sayner Street Fair, including train rides that go through town, face painting and kids’ games.
Sponsored by Sayner-Star Lake businesses, the festival will feature some great local bands, including performances by Taylor Bolte and the Brew City Rockers. Still Kickin’ will close the event out with a performance that will run until about 9pm.
