The Sayner-Star Lake Chamber of Commerce announces they will be holding their inaugural Community-Wide Rummage Sale on Saturday, May 28, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. throughout the Town of Plum Lake.

Find treasures galore at the Community-Wide Rummage Sale! Rummage through everything from gently used clothing, household goods, shoes, furniture, and many other treasures at a variety of local businesses and homes in Sayner and Star Lake. “Since many of the local businesses and homeowners hold sales of their own on Memorial Day weekend, we thought, why not link them together with a map,” says Helen Bryner, event coordinator and owner of Cre-ate, in downtown Sayner, who has led the Sayner-Star Lake Chamber’s Event Committee for the last six months.
“Our goal is to get people out in the community. We want them to venture down a beautiful road they’ve never traveled, and hopefully stop by a business they’ve never visited,” states Helen.
“If we accomplish that, then we’ll consider the event a success,” adds Bryner.
More Happenings
The Sayner-Star Lake Chamber’s event committee plans to bring a number of Chamber-sponsored events to the community this summer. On June 21st, the Bags & Brews: Cornhole Night series kicks off at the Sayner Pub and continues throughout the summer every third Tuesday of the month. The 7th Annual Sayner Street Fair and brand-new Street Fair 5K Fun Run/Walk will be held on Aug. 7th. Later in the month, on Aug. 26th, all are invited to hit the greens at the Chamber’s inaugural Plum Lake Open golf tournament. A revamped Colorama celebration will also take place on Sept. 25th with more details to come!
