A DUO WORKSHOP COMBINING:
MOUNTING (LET’S GET ON!)
& TACK CLEANING
This hands-on workshop is designed to help women build confidence in safely mounting a horse – a crucial step in any equestrian journey! However, if you’re not that interested in riding at this time, or for those waiting their turn to work with their individual mounting session, we will be working on tack cleaning – another crucial step in any equestrian journey!

Learn to, or refresh your abilities in how to use tack cleaning and care products to keep tack and equipment safe and durable. Also, learn when tack is too worn or too old to be safely usable anymore.

The Great Northern Highland Paddle and Portage
We will begin on Plum Lake in Sayner and end on Star Lake in Star Lake with a portage of woods connecting the two. This event will be a one-day event with registration starting at 7:00am downtown Sayner at the Northern Highland Coffee Co., race starting at 10:00am at the boat ramp located at 3230 State House Point Rd., Sayner, WI and the finish of the race will be at the Star Lake Pavilion/Old Mill Site, 7877 Statehouse Road, Star Lake, WI. The park will have food opportunities, restrooms and a pavilion to guard us from any inclement weather.

Sayner-Star Lake Street Fair
The Sayner-Star Lake Chamber of Commerce is so excited to welcome you all back to town for our biggest event of the summer! Mark your calendars for our 9th Annual Street Fair, on Sun., Aug. 4, 2024!
This year we’ll be welcoming back some of the finest artists and crafters from the Midwest and introducing many that are brand new to the fair.
Don’t miss events like Touch-A-Truck, the Quilt Show at Plum Lake Quilts, and a 50/50 raffle at the Chamber booth.
There’s something for everyone at the Street Fair! Kids will also enjoy games, a bounce house, and other activities throughout town, cotton candy, ice cream, and more!

3rd Annual Plum Lake Open Golf Tournament
This can’t-miss golf tournament takes place at the historic Plum Lake Golf Club in Sayner.
The pristine 9-hole course features a stunning landscape with rolling hills and breathtaking views of Plum Lake.
Enjoy an amazing day with friends and compete for prizes all while enjoying this historic course.
Space is limited to 14 teams of four. Registration is $90 per person and includes 9 holes, a cart for two and lunch.
