Family Fun in the Northwoods

Each Thursday evening, the enticing scent of food cooked over a flame wafts through the pines at Plum Gate Resort. The cookout has started! Plum Gate Resort hosts a weekly cookout at the large barbeque pit, and all guests are welcome. You may have been to a place like this before – a place where there’s nothing more urgent than the next dive in the lake or watching clouds float across the sky. Welcome back.

Plum Gate Resort is a relaxing family retreat featuring six cozy, clean cottages overlooking scenic Plum Lake. The lake provides great fishing for musky, walleye, northern pike, largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie and panfish. You can also fish for trout in Plum Creek or paddle scenic Lost Creek. The Plum Ski-ters, a water ski club, offers free shows on Plum Lake three nights a week. The resort is surrounded by great bike trails, and children will find great swimming and a play area.
