When summer shifts to fall at the shops downtown, shoppers are delightfully surprised. Folks love shopping in Sayner-Star Lake in the fall, and here’s why:

1. Items you won’t find anywhere else

Cre-ate, the newest shop in town, located on Hwy 155 in Sayner, has quickly become a popular stop for finding unique treasures. This fall, their handpicked inventory consists of a fun mix of locally made arts, handmade pumpkins, Stormy Kromer hats, and a ton more! Also in the store is their custom printed apparel, that’s right! Store owner, Helen, designs wearable “Plum Lake” gear and styles you won’t find elsewhere.

2. Pumpkins, witches & gorgeous displays

From the moment you step into Traditions, you’ll feel the warmth of fall! Each year, the store’s owner, Jessica, assembles gorgeous displays of pumpkins and gourds, unique seasonal home goods and décor, and gifts that any lady would love to give or get. Let’s not forget their witches! Yep, you heard it…witches! The store is chock full of fun and sassy handmade witches of all shapes and sizes!

3. Gift making & giving paradise

Fall not only has us thinking about “pumpkins, spice, and all things nice”, but it also has us thinking about the season ahead: gift making and giving! Walking into Plum Lake Quilts is like walking into quilting and crafting paradise. In the fall the store’s owner, Pat, displays so many samples of pumpkin, quilt, and table runner kits, you’ll be dreaming of your fall and winter projects for days!
