We all Scream for Ice Cream at These Two Local Must-Stops

Ice Cream in Sayner-Star Lake, Wisconsin.jpg

After a day at the lake.  Following a bike ride or hike.  With your girlfriends after an afternoon of shopping.  Or, after a golf outing.  Maybe in the evening for dessert.  Regardless, there’s never a bad time to enjoy a cold summertime treat at one of these two local ice cream stops!

The Corner Store

Proudly serving Cedar Crest ice cream, The Corner Store has been a family tradition for over 80 years.  Each day you’ll find new featured flavors to tempt your taste buds.  If you’re craving more than a scoop, select one of their signature sundaes for something extra scrumptious.

You can take it to go or spread out under a canopy of towering pines at one of their outdoor picnic tables.  The Corner Store is located adjacent to the 52-mile Heart of Vilas Paved Bike Trail System and right next to the Razorback Ridges.

Star Lake Store

Also serving Cedar Crest ice cream, you’ll find 18 flavors of cold, creamy deliciousness at the Star Lake Store!  Their hand-scooped ice cream is served any way that makes your heart happy – with huge scoops in a dish, in a waffle cone, or in a crispy cake cone!  Kiddie cones are available with two scoops, a regular has four scoops, and for the ice cream lovers you can indulge in a double which has EIGHT scoops!

The Star Lake Store has been a must-stop, even a family tradition on many lists for years!  Conveniently located in the heart of Star Lake, it’s near historical landmarks and galleries, near the breathtaking Star Lake Nature Trails and is right up the road from the Star Lake Campgrounds and public picnic and beach areas.

No matter what, there’s always room for ice cream!
