Pet-Friendly Lodging Guide

Pet-Friendly Lodging Guide
Don’t suffer separation anxiety; bring your dog with you on vacation.
— White Birch Village Resort

Four-legged friends are more than just pets; they’re family! And vacation isn’t complete without the whole family. To help you find pet-friendly accommodations, here’s a list of just a few rentals in the Sayner-Star Lake area that allow your furry friends to join in on the vacation fun.

Cropsey Vacation Rentals

With multiple vacation rentals available most of the properties are pet-friendly given management approval. Some of these locations include Red Pine Lodge, Loon Call Lodge, Heavenly Found, Sunset Gateway, and occasionally the Knoll House. Renters are asked to simply follow a few common courtesy rules and pay a pet fee of $150-200 per pet, depending upon the rental location.

Four Seasons Cabin

This rental allows well-trained dogs with management’s approval. Simply follow a few basic rules including no pets on the furniture and picking up after they use the outdoor facilities. Common sense, right? Treat all rentals with respect, so they continue allowing everyone’s furry friends. Also, note that there is a pet fee of $100.

Plum Lake Station

This renovated train station allows up to two pets in its historical site. With crystal-clear sandy lakefront access, your pet can go for a dive and cool off, or join you on the property’s available boats. All pets are subject to an extra charge.

Up North Adventures

Rob and Shelby Errington own ten rental properties and are happy to accommodate the needs of their guests. With three rental properties allowing pets you're sure to find a property meeting your needs; whether it be the Bear Cottage, Little Dipper, or the Plum Lake Station. Select locations are subject to a fee and size restrictions.

White Birch Village Resort

Nothing says dog-friendly more than a resort with a designated dog-run area. Up to two dogs are allowed in each rental with the exception of their lodge suites (no pets). Each pet is subject to a $250 fee. More information can be found regarding their pet policy on their website.
